Whoops, I skipped the 9th.

Yeah so I blogged the 10th before the 9th by mistake, my OCD tendencies picked up on something being "off" and this was why, lmao. :P I can't stand things out of order. So this is the NINTH.

Anyway, some more playing in our yard. First two photos are clickable. :)


She loves pine cones. Sometimes she calls them "pine corns" and got me saying it now too by mistake! Kick. Oh and these Keen sandals ROCK. We luvs 'em. :)

Peeking diaper. This girl has no interest in peeing on the potty. She has an itty bitty waist and long legs...her pants tend to do this! She can wear 6-12, and 12 month shorts but can also wear 2t, 3t jeans/pants. 2t mostly. She grew an inch and a half this past month. Current stats, 25 pounds, 34 inches, big ole size 7-7 1/2 shoe. One foots a wee bit bigger than the other.

Look like another picture? This is the day after if I remember correctly. What fun it is to sit in mud tire tracks.

Tree hugger. Really. :)

April 10th, Outside

So we got outside to play some more. Finally the weather is bearable. The first two pics are clickable and will bring you to my photostream.

The kids over at the neighbor's were playing and being loud and she listened to them for a long time very intently...I think she wanted to go play with them.

Our yard is a swamp. Well not the actual yard part, but further back. Plus the larger part of the yard is very wet. Of course, who wants to stay on the dry part, she wanted to go play where the swamp was or where it was wet. So much for GREEN grass too...it's just ugly yellow brown grass. It'll get greener as spring goes on but most the grass and trees are still damaged from the bad ice storm we had way back in '98. I'll have to get a picture of the poor trees that are ruined.

She writes the alphabet in the dirt. She says her letters as she "writes" them. I know, I know..her socks don't match and she's wearing socks with sandals, lol. Well it's the ONLY socks I could find, and it's it's too cold to go sockless.

Warm enough for a good play.

It was finally warm enough to play outside for a good amount of time (april 2nd pics taken on)...without being bundled up. :) It reached a high of like 60 or so, lmao. Hey that's warm in our book! This is the neighbor's toy, she always prefers the neighbor toy's....something different I guess. or maybe just because it's not hers.


Squish Face. Or that's her "blow face", lol. One of the silly things she does.

These are the neighbor's cats, lol. Who needs a cat when you got your neighbor's? These cat's follow her everywhere, Tehya even has treats here sometimes that are for the them. They even come looking in her bedroom door at times or come in the house. Tehya loves cats to death. Possibly literally, if she had a kitten I fear that cat's life.

The snow is still not melted. Nothing uglier than melting snow. Happy it's melting but it's dirty and nasty looking now. Not bad in this pic, but the snow on the cement and the sides of road..looks bad. Just melt already! Still a big snowbank against the house. Out back gets flooded a lot here. It's really wet out there..only to get worse when the "April showers" come. I'm excited for the rain, I LOVE rain and Tehya does too. I'm planning my in the rain photo shoot already. :)

Drawing in the dirt. I made a flower, Tehya was making apples and letters. Kind of, lol. :) We had to put her rain boots on, her shoes were soaked. These are last years boots, I think they are almost too small.

This child loves the moon. I mean seriously, she's VERY OBSESSED with it, she has had this moon "fetish" for a long time now. She randomly goes outside to see it, always talks about it, says goodnight to it, tells it to be careful and not fall from the sky, lol. It's cute. I'd have to say, the moon is her favorite thing.


The moon she was looking at in the above photo. The sun was on the other side at the same time, lol. :) I think the sun was starting to go down as we finished up out outdoor activities.

Okay not really a candy shop, we went and bought her some new keen sandals at Lamey, then went to the mall for fun. She eyed the candy machines and wanted some on the way in and out. I didn't give her any, another mean mommy moment, but she found a left behind piece in one and popped it in her mouth saying "yummy" before I could stop her.

She got the broccoli from the fridge without me knowing it...

So I put her in her chair.. with some dip.

..and she ate pretty much the WHOLE thing..an entire bushel!

This girl loves broccoli or "trees" as she calls it. She used to call them "flowers".

Newman O's

This girl has NEVER eaten cookie. She always ONLY eats the middle...tosses the cookie part. If I give her a cream-less cookie she wont eat it, just picks at it trying to find cream, lol.
