The mouse she got for her b day but she calls it a bunny. Must be the big ears.


Swinging, her FAVE thing ever. She started swinging on the big girl swing last year but she likes the baby one too...she don't care as long as it swings. This one is not even up anymore, the neighbor didn't like it near her window so she paid to buy a swingset on "our" side of the apartment.

Field Day,May 1st

Yet another out of order blog post, and a few to follow later on when I get some free time. My last post was the 10th, this here is the first...with posts leading to the 10th to follow. Ramble, ramble , ramble..on to the post!!

I decided to take my girly across the street of my moms to do a "photoshoot" and give my new camera the true test. Nevermind the boots, I let her choose her footwear that day, she choose these.

Tehya had a blast over there and I loved to shoot over there BUT after coming inside I found a wood tick crawling up my leg! Eeeew eeew eeew! I so want to go back to the field with new ideas and techniques in mind for a shoot but I'm too scared of wood ticks, I HATE those things. Maybe I'll attempt it when fewer wood ticks are out or when wood tick "season" is over.

Mother's Day '09

Mother's Day we headed to East Bethel...Bryant Pond to visit the cemetery Grams in. First time I've been to this particular cemetery.

It was sooo cold! Can ya tell? lol. I have a pic of her sitting on each grave from the cemetery my dads in (diff cemetery)..I'll post this year and last years photo after we go there later this month.

After that we stopped in BP, Grams old house. Uncles are living there now. Tehya and Madison jumping on the bed. Tehya LOVES Madison, I think she's almost 4 now? Hmm.

Swing

Well it started out as just walking to the vegan cafe but it was closed ( and the school is directly across the street) so we decided to to take Tehya to the playground instead. Basically all she wanted to do was swing the entire time. Who can blame her, I LOVE to swing too.

Oh and we started out chilly with Tehya in a sweatshirt, then got really hot and into t-shirts and got sunburn in the end. Craziness.

There WAS a swing tide to the tree in the yard by our apartment (see pic below this paragraph) but the neighbor didn't like it up...long story...it got taken down. :( Tehya LOVED it too..she'd literally stay on it hours straight if you let her and still get off kicking & screaming cause well..she didn't ever want to leave it.



At the school's playground.... don't let the blank or down face fool you..it's just her look (same as mine), she really is excited. We always get accused of being mad/sad when we are not because we have that look about us I guess. :P

Somehow convinced her to walk away from the swing.
